Product Introduction

The Heat Pipes product range offers a very efficient and cost effective means of recovering waste heat from exhaust heat steams. The heat pipes at the core of our exchangers are able to operate at exhaust temperatures from less than 100°C right up to 1400°C which provides our clients with a vast range of recovery possibilities. The recovery mediums can be to gas (air), water or oil as dictated by the optimum recovery solution for a particular application.

Heat pipe, is a vacuumed tube which contain working fluid inside the tube simultaneously. The fluid inside the heat pipe will start boiling when heat comes into contact with the heat pipe surface. The fluid vapor will bring latent heat to the medium and condensed back to the bottom of heat pipe.

Considering, water is the working fluid for heat pipe, please check the variance of the heat transferred by using heat pipe against tube & shell design at the table below. The heat pipe is 500% more effective than tube and shell design.
